Official High School Transcript (or equivalent)

Loyola requires an official final high school transcript (or equivalent, such as GED certificate) to verify completion of a U.S. high school diploma. Please reach out to your high school directly via phone or email and request that the counseling or registrar鈥檚 office send your transcript directly to Loyola, preferably via email to transferadmission@loyola.edu. If electronic delivery is not available, transcripts may be sent by paper mail. We cannot accept documents from the applicant as "official"; they must be sent directly from the school.

Official College Transcript(s)

Official transcripts are required from all colleges or universities you currently or previously attended after the completion of high school. You can typically request these online through your college's registrar or records office. Most colleges will send these documents to Loyola electronically via a service such as Parchment or the National Student Clearinghouse. Some colleges may charge you a small fee. Graduate on time with the Seamless Transfer Program for Maryland community college students

Seamless Transfer Program

Our seamless transfer pathway saves local Maryland community college graduates time in completing their degree. By earning an A.A. or A.S. degree in the state of Maryland, we will waive you out of most Loyola core requirements*. We are committed to helping you stay on track with your degree so you can graduate in 4 years total.

*Students must complete either an Associate of Science or Associate of Art (A.S. or A.A. degree) from a Maryland community college by the time of enrollment with Loyola.

Students will be considered as having fulfilled all Loyola core requirements, but will still be required to:

  • Complete two courses that would fulfill the theology and philosophy requirements that serve as the foundation of our Jesuit liberal arts curriculum.
  • Complete the Loyola language core requirements. Students must have taken at least two semesters of a college-level world language (e.g., Spanish 101 and 102). If not, they will need to take two semesters of a world language at Loyola.

Transfer Partnerships & Pathways

We take a special interest in helping community college students plan for their future at 澳门6合开彩开奖结果. We continue to add additional agreements for students interested in a range of different degree programs offered at Loyola.

COVID-19 and Spring 2020 semester grades

In light of the potential impact of COVID-19 on academic coursework in the Spring 2020 semester, 澳门6合开彩开奖结果 has temporarily relaxed its transfer course policy. Housing & Dining

A place to call home that feels like one, our residence halls are so much more than a place to hang your backpack. With a variety of apartment-style housing options to choose from, students have access to a full kitchen, comfortable common spaces for studying and spending time with friends, spacious bedrooms, and semi-private bathrooms.

The Transfer Experience

While you鈥檒l never be labeled 鈥渁 transfer鈥 at Loyola, we know you have specific needs. Our goal is to make your transfer process as smooth as possible by facilitating connections and providing distinctive resources. That way, once college credits are evaluated and the semester begins, you鈥檒l quickly become fully integrated into the Greyhound community.

Logan S. — Baltimore, MD

Biology major, Psychology minor

"One of the key pillars of a Loyola education is the concept of cura personalis—developing the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. At Loyola, I've had the opportunity to flourish in all parts of my life and the support from multiple advisors to ensure I have all the resources necessary to thrive. I'm a member of the Pre-Health Society and have worked closely with my advisor to choose classes and find research opportunities and volunteer work to support my application to medical school. I'm also involved with the , a unique student leadership organization on campus that played a vital role in my decision to attend Loyola. As an Evergreen mentor, I'm growing as a person, while also being able to share all the great qualities about Loyola with incoming students."

Kiliane G. — Columbia, MD

Communication major (concentration in journalism), Forensic Studies minor

"Loyola allowed me to challenge myself academically and feel supported right from the start. With the assistance of faculty members and my mentor, I experienced a smooth transition. Aside from meeting my best friend, the Transfer Transitions course also helped me gain more knowledge about the resources on campus, alleviating any concerns I had when I first arrived at Loyola. I really enjoyed the guidance and support the course provided to students and the sense of community it fostered. In addition, the Transfer Transitions course made me feel welcome and not alone, which allowed me to express myself to my professor and fellow students comfortably. I loved that it provided opportunities to build strong relationships with other transfer students."
